Spanish Courses in Santiago de Cuba

Intensive Group Course:
This intensive program is made up of 20 hours a week of class for four hours a day. Each group has no more than three students. The classes aim to develop the communicative competence in Spanish in the four main skills: speaking, reading, listening, and writing. They also provide contextualized grammar and expose the students to the local culture. Out-of-class exercises are assigned by teachers to reinforce the content of the lessons.

Super Intensive Group Course:
This program is designed for students wishing to deepen their learning experience and gain a higher level of proficiency in Spanish in a shorter time. This course includes 20 hours a week of lessons (four hours a day) and 10 hours of individual class per week (2 hours a day). Each group has no more then 3 students. These classes follow the regular syllabus during the group lessons, and in the individual lessons they reinforce or clarify the group class content, working on your weak points and broadening areas of your own interest. All areas of language are worked on: reading, writing, speaking, listening and contextualized grammar.

One-to-One:
This course is designed to meet the student's individual needs and expectations. During the course, you will be exposed to a wide variety of topics according to their own interests and pace. You will have 20 classes a week. This course is available at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced, and you can choose the number of you want to take. The classes are organized according to the your schedule. This course is ideal if you planning to take a specific Spanish exam or needing Spanish to work.

General Information:
• Starts dates are every Monday.
• All levels are welcome.
• Based on your level, the school decides your timetable. Classes are in the morning or in the afternoon.

In the three locations to choose from in Cuba, there is an established official meeting point. Also, classes are held either in your teacher’s home, in the house of your host family, or in some cases in a cultural center providing for a more intimate and friendly learning environment that only Cuba could offer.

The Intensive Group Course and the Super Intensive Group Course are only possible for 2 weeks or more and with a minimum of 2 participants. We reserve the right to change a course into One-to- One in case there is no other student at the same level. If this happens, there will be 15 hours of class a week.
