You will stay with a Dominican host family with a single bedroom and shared bathroom with breakfast and dinner.
The home stay is 10-40 minutes away from the school and tends to be an apartment. However, the word “family” should not be taken too literally, because your family could be a single parent, a married couple, or an elderly individual.
Moreover, there are no more than 3 rooms to be rented. Generally they have pets and outdoor spaces such as a garden, a balcony, front yard or backyard.
These houses are conditioned to receive guests and provide services such as changing of sheets and towels once a week. Additionally, the host family makes an effort to try and make the guest feel like a member of the family. This accommodation will offer you the opportunity to experience the common life of a Dominican family.
