You will stay with a Guatemalan host family in a single bedroom, and a shared bathroom, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Bed linen is also included but you must bring your own towels.

Your host family will be 5-15 minutes away from the school and tends to be a house or an apartment. However, the word “family” should not be taken too literally, because your family could be a single parent, a married couple, or an elderly individual. The accommodation does not have more than 3 rooms available to be rented, and generally they have pets and outdoor spaces such as a garden, a balcony, front yard or backyard. These houses are conditioned to receive guests and provide services such as changing of sheets and towels once a week. Moreover, the host family makes an effort to try and make the guest feel like a member of the family.

This accommodation will offer you the opportunity to experience the common life of a Guatemalan family.

Upon request, airport pick-up is included if arriving on a Sunday before 21:30 . If not, there is a charge of $15.
